The Power of Ideas

Sooner or later, it is ideas, not vested interests, which are dangerous for good and evil. J.M. Keynes

The true scarcity in his time, and ours, is not of resources, or even virtues, but of understanding.

We will not achieve the understanding we need, unless we are willing to think clearly about our problems and to follow those thoughts to wherever they lead.

The only important structural obstacle to prosperity are the obsolete mental frames and doctrines that clutter the minds of mankind.

The Convenietly Useless Theory [CUT]

The CUT is based on the simple concept that one must be Effective and Efficient, set a Good Example but must be Conveniently Useless.

CUT = E + E + G Ex but CU

Effectiveness is doing the right things.

Efficiency is doing things right.

Good Example is observing those who came before us or still are around us from whom we learn and adapt their teachings and doings to our particular ways. The goal is to pick up and continue with what they have started before us.

I have personally chosen Leonardo da Vinci as the main road model to follow. Of course their are others which I will name and bring up in the future.

My Greek Grandfather Mijalis use to say that their is nothing more irritating than a good example. I practice it and it works!

The Conveniently Useless part will be dealt with further on.

About Finance Capitalism

History and the 2008 financial crises shows us that Finance Capitalism is a finance aristocracy totally separated from the common weal, with no real customers and no social attachements to country or human being. The question one must ask, even as an ardent capitalist, is whether capitalism is master or slave to man. That a person can become indecently rich by providing neither service nor product instructs a world of onlookers to do likewise.

We are living the consequences of such practice.

What's most troubling is that we all still don't seem to have learned our lesson. Since the one's that provoked this mess, consider that what occurred wasn't their doing or fault. They have returned to their disturbing practices: all is well and business as usual.
